H2 Carbon Neutrality

Strategic stakes for the hydrogen sector

The “H2 Carbon neutrality” project carried by the Normandy International Energy Excellence Campus (CEINE) aims at  developing and promoting a decarbonated hydrogen vocational training programme. The objective is to meet all needs in skills and expertise of industrial groups, as well as small and medium businesses and very small businesses, while reviving the attractivity of training programmes and careers.

Train towards a decarbonated hydrogen future

With this project, the University of Caen Normandy has two goals:training higher technicians in different careers needed in the decarbonated hydrogen sector, especially high-risk careers; andcreating specific courses specialised in H2 (200 hours) as part of the creation of an engineering degree on renewable energies, as well as a H2 practice lab (electrolyser, hydrogen fuel cell, solid storage system…)
